Distance from your set ideal — green is ideal, black is far from it. Each row tints from its own parameter: icon from rainfall in mm, % row from rain probability, wind / gusts from wind speed, swell from swell height (DWS routes only). They're independent, so an icon can be green while the % row is red on a "cloudy-but-might-rain" day.
A route counts as "suitable" in a given 3-hour window if all the conditions below are met. Map pin colours show the fraction of your filtered routes per crag that are suitable in the focused window.
Display units
Threshold inputs below show in your selected units; storage stays canonical so they remain comparable. The weather model affects only the temp/wind/precip forecast — tides and swell come from a separate marine model regardless.
Conditions — ideal values
Set the ideal value for each parameter; cells colour smoothly from green at ideal through orange, red, dark red, to black as conditions move away. The system handles all boundaries (tuned for UK summer weather, roughly 30/30/20/10/10 distribution). Swell and Tide are only checked at near-water crags.
